Boardrooms.
Strategy sessions.
Leadership retreats.
Innovation workshops.
And over time, I noticed something.
The most important question in the room was rarely the one being discussed.
Because saying it out loud felt too risky.
Because they feared the reaction.
Because there wasn’t always the trust, stillness, or conditions for it to emerge.
No quiet.
No permission.
No container.
Just a room full of people trying to solve the visible problem while something deeper sat underneath it.
Over the years, I’ve become someone people trust with those unspoken questions.
My role isn’t to provide the answer.
It’s to create the conditions where the real question can finally emerge.
That experience became thequestion.earth.
An art project, yes.
But also a reflection of the work I do every day through Threshold.
A place for the question you haven’t quite found words for yet.
The question beneath the question.
The one that has been travelling with you longer than you realise.
Because sometimes what changes a decision is not a better answer.
It’s finally hearing what the real question was.
