Imagine - For Us, By Us

I’m honoured to be included in an upcoming animation created by Tyson Yunkaporta, where I take on the role of the Cyborg Shaman.

The animation draws on Indigenous perspectives and features voices from beautiful humans like Taika Waititi, Yael Stone, and Ian Thorpe. It’s led by Tyson, an Aboriginal scholar and co-founder of Deakin University’s Indigenous Knowledge Systems Lab, which works with Indigenous knowledge to open new ways of seeing, thinking, and imagining. The project is also made possible with the support of Jack Manning Bancroft, founder and CEO of AIME, the award-winning mentoring organisation empowering children and young people globally.

The work is being released on 26 January / Invasion Day, a date that carries deep significance. Grateful to be part of a project that uses imagination and story to spark important conversations.
